James Lyons named to Metro Denver's Top Business Newsmakers by the Denver Business Journal

Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP is pleased to announce that James M. Lyons, a partner with the firm, has been named to the Metro Denver's Top Business Newsmakers list by the Denver Business Journal.
Mr. Lyons was heavily involved in the effort to bring the 2008 Democratic National Convention to Denver. He served on the transition team after last fall's election of Gov. Bill Ritter, and knowing that former President Bill Clinton highly valued economic development and the role it plays in building healthy countries and communities, Jim recently persuaded the former president to accept an invitation to speak at the Aurora Economic Development Council.
With more than 35 years of courtroom experience, Mr, Lyons has served as independent counsel and lead litigation counsel to board members at Quest Communications, and is one of the 12 attorneys of the firm recognized in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
