William D. Nelson Selected for Colorado Springs Leadership Institute

William D. Nelson, partner at the law firm of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP (RJ&L), has been appointed to the prestigious Colorado Springs Leadership Institute class of 2013. The class kicks off April 3 with an orientation and a meet and greet with fellow classmates and instructors.
The Colorado Springs Leadership Institute was formed in 1996 with the purpose of promoting the quality and quantity of leaders in the Colorado Springs community. Their mission is to enhance local leadership through the development of personal, professional, and civic knowledge.
Mr. Nelson's practice emphasizes securities arbitration and litigation, employment law, commercial and corporate litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. He has more than 30 years of experience. Among other appointments, Mr. Nelson serves as Co-Chairman for the City of Colorado Springs Leadership Committee for the Community Advancing Public Safety (CAPS) Program, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum, is President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Colorado Springs School, and is a senior contributing editor for Securities Litigation Commentator.
