Attorney Ben M. Ochoa Elected to the Law Alumni Board of the University of Colorado School of Law

The law firm of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP is pleased to announce that partner Ben M. Ochoa has been elected to the Law Alumni Board of Directors of the University of Colorado School of Law for a four-year term.

The Law Alumni Board is made up of 28 University of Colorado Law School graduates. The members promote the best interests of the Law School by stimulating interest in, building loyalty for, and increasing support for the Law School among its alumni and students. They assist the Law School in serving the needs of its alumni, students, and faculty, the legal profession, and the public at large. The board also selects the Law School's Distinguished Achievement Awards and Knous Award recipients, the Law School's highest alumni honor.

Mr. Ochoa's legal practice is focused in the areas of construction, real estate and commercial litigation. His construction clients include construction lenders, owners and developers, special districts, property owners' associations and contractors. Mr. Ochoa has extensive experience litigating, arbitrating and mediating a broad range of civil disputes in Colorado state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and various arbitration and mediation forums. Mr. Ochoa also has experience in both the Colorado Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He currently chairs Rothgerber's Real Estate, Construction and Land Business Group.

Mr. Ochoa graduated from the University of Colorado College of Business, cum laude, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law
