Our firm's insurance litigation practice involves representation in insurance coverage disputes; defense of bad faith claims; and matters related to surety, bonding, and life and health insurance claims. Our litigation experience includes litigating claims arising from a variety of policies and endorsements including commercial general liability, workers compensation, sexual misconduct, defamation, business interruption, officers' and directors' liability, medical and legal malpractice, and errors and omissions.

Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons is skilled in addressing the legal needs of the life and health insurance industry. In addition to providing ongoing counsel to state life and health insurance guaranty associations and life insurance companies, our practice emphasizes multistate insolvencies and issues associated with the rehabilitation and liquidation of life and health insurance companies.

In addition to representing insurance carriers and self-insured businesses, we provide ongoing counsel to businesses of all sizes regarding insurance issues. We also work with insurance agencies and brokers to advise their clients on coverage issues and on filing and perfecting claims.

We also negotiate and litigate matters involving directors' and officers' liability insurance. Not only does our firm regularly represent corporations, directors, officers, and individual board members in resolution of claims under professional and director and officer policies, we also represent the insurance companies that issue the policies in litigation concerning coverage issues.
