Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons represents banks of all sizes in the making of commercial and consumer loans to bank customers. The types of loans include acquisition, acquisition and development, construction, mini-perm, secured lines of credit, accounts receivable loans, asset-based financing, tax credit finance, and condominium association loans, among others.
The scope of our work varies according to our clients' needs. We will typically be in charge of all the loan documents representing the transaction but, at the request of the client, we can review bank-generated documents and originate specialized agreements for unusual collateral or disbursement situations. We regularly help negotiate with borrowers and their counsel and, at the client's request, will review the title work, surveys, and environmental work relating to the collateral.
Our legal representation extends to financial lenders throughout the western United States. We have drafted loan documents (with appropriate local help, as needed) for loans closing in almost every state west of the Mississippi. We pay particular attention to loans in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada, as well as our home states of Colorado and Wyoming.
